He could have had 2 attempts if not for the INT with 3 minutes to go to? Grasp at more straws please. Kasay has won more games and lost less for us in his career than Clausen has lost since starting. The QB has more than half to do with whether or not a team wins. Look at Cleveland, Rams pre-this year, Tampa Bay, Oakland, and Arizona to see this. It is not rocket science to figure out. Peyton hasn't been as good this year and look at the Colts. NO sucked before Breesus got there.

This game can't be played without a good QB and wins and losses ultimately fall on Owners, Coodinators, HC's and QB's as they are the leaders of the teams.

Oh god.

Clausen drove us down the field with no time on the clock and put us in comfortable FG range. If Kasay kicks that FG we win.

Of course the Clausen haters would credit Kasay with winning the game, just like they don't credit Clausen for throwing a TD pass to Stewart ("But, but, but....it was a blown coverage!").

Just wanna throw my two cents in.

1. You showed Clausen performs better without pressure, I'm sure most Qbs do. However, a lot of the time he will be facing pressure so his throws without pressure don't mean much. In addition, some of his throws without pressure come in the fourth quarter when teams are playing prevent, so again stats don't mean much.

2. I have seen a couple times people say that Clausen doesn't throw TDs because he doesn't have many throws in the red zone. The problem is he doesn't get us into the redzone.

3. I find it amazing how people seem to soley blame Kasay, and forget about Clausen's INT. Yes if Kasay made the kick we would have won. If Clausen didn't throw that pick, we also could have won. So IMO both are equally to blame.

4. Most of us "Clausen haters" don't hate Clausen. We say he sucks because right now at this moment he sucks. He could become our franchise QB and we would be happy. That doesn't change the fact that he currently sucks.
