Bradford and Clausen have played and started against the same opponent 1 time. Tampa

Clausen 16 29 191 55.2 __6.59 34 __0 __0 _2.0 75.5

After the next 3 weeks we'll have played against 5 common opponents.(Tampa, N.O,ATL,Seattle,Arizona)

Since we have Seattle coming up this week I figured I go ahead and post Bradfords stats against them and after the game I'll fill in Clausens stats.

Keep in mind the seattle game was Bradfords 2nd best game of the year

I dont think its really fair to compare Bradford to Clausen because everyone knew coming into the draft Bradford was better.

Still Im not happy with Clausens play.

Agreed. Bradford was supposed to be a franchise guy. If Clausen was playing at that level, he would have been far and away the best pick of the draft.

It doesn't really matter what the stats say. And I don't see how these Clausen stats are possible, considering he entered the Browns game with a 48% completion percentage if I'm not mistaken. But, assuming these are authentic, it still doesn't matter...

Bradford and McCoy are getting their teams to win with less talent around them (Smitty, Stewart, Goodson, and Gettis has proven to be a viable option at this point). Something just isn't right about Jimmy, and the stat's don't show that he can't put a team on his back and win like Bradford and McCoy.

And the Brown's won going away while we lost 34-3. They ran for 138 yards as well.

To be fair to McCoy, lets not forget the second game Clausen played against New Orleans after Moore got hurt until Clausen got benched in favor of Pike.

If Kasey had hit that field goal last week all of the "on the fencers" re: Clausen would have been singing his praises.

Bradford and McCoys teams are winning. That's the difference. I don't mind blaming Clausen alone for the Panthers losing since that's the standard in the NFL. Completely ignorant, but the standard nonetheless.

Bradford has/had the NFL record for most yards/TD's by a rookie QB through his first 11 starts. Surpassing Peyton Manning.

Bout all i need to know.

Bradford is running a west coast offense that allows him to throw the ball 35-55 times a game.

Clausen is on a run first offense and will rarely if ever match Bradford in attempts.

Bradford is doing a really good job throwing short passes to running backs who gain yards after the catch. So is McCoy... go look at their leading receivers.

I've watched almost every Rams game this year thanks to Sunday ticket and I have rarely seen vertical passing from Bradford. It's tough to compare what he (or McCoy) are asked to do vs Clausen but they are doing it well. Those rookies succeeding does not mean Clausen is failing in a tougher system.... except for everyone that thinks he is of course.

The biggest difference being the Rams have created an offensive scheme that best utilizes Bradford's talents and skills as a QB.

The Panthers have been shoving their run first offense down every QB's throat who is/were on the roster and wonder why it's been difficult to find a franchise QB.

The most glaring fault of the Panther's coaching staff- not creating a program that will best use the personnel and their talents. Rather, they have developed a scheme and if someone on the roster doesn't match the skill set, oh well.

If Clausen were in the Rams offensive plan, he'd probably be thriving as well. Perhaps not to the level of Bradford, but he'd be enjoying more success than he is now.

The Panthers offensive coaching mindset is the equivalent of telling Nolan Ryan in his prime that he needs to start throwing more curve balls.
