Philly Fans....

He's a douche for what--doing his job where he wants to? If the Cleveland fans behave the way they have been threatening tonight, they will only prove what assholes they are and that Lebron made the right decision for himself. Who wouldn't want to live and work in Miami instead of the armpit of the United States?

He's a douche for the way he handled it. That feigned attempt to hide his shameless hour long primetime television me-fest self-promotion spectacle by donating some money to charity shows how truly misguided the guy is. He's surrounded himself with a bunch of people who are either more misguided than he is, or they are too afraid to tell him what a bad idea that was. People used to love Lebron. Now people, like myself, are happy to root against him.

Oh, and the fact that he announced to the whole world that he isn't a true competitor and will never be held on the level of Jordan or Bird who would rather live in Buffalo than admit they need to go to someone else's team to win. Even if the Heat reel of 8 championships in a row, Lebron will always have one fewer ring than Wade.

As someone who grew up in Philadelphia, the fans aren't that bad. The media just loves to point out that Philly fans are the worst in America. Well the Phillies have had 120+ straight sell outs. And the Eagles always sell out. And the Flyers always sell out. Those are bad fans?

To me the worst fans in America are the fans who don't show up to the games. Maybe Philly fans cares TOO much. But I'll take that over apathy.

He admitted in a press conference yesterday that he was wrong for the way he handled leaving Cleveland, and wished he had that part to do over again. However, Cleveland fans are mad at him for LEAVING--period. Like anyone with any ambition wants to stay in that place for the rest of their lives.
