Passing Game Perspective

No news here, just wanted to point out some stupid things (that proves stuff we all already know) going into week 13 in the NFL:

-We still do not have a quarterback with over 1,000 passing yards...in comparison, 22 quarterbacks in the NFL have over 2,000 passing yards already (4 with 3,000+)

-Even if you combined all of our quarterbacks to make one suck-tastic QB entity, he would still rank 26th in the league slightly ahead of the injured Tony Romo and the benched Alex Smith

So here's to Jimmy hopefully eclipsing the 1,000 passing yard mark this weekend against the Seahawks and maybe adding a touchdown pass in there somewhere.

Feel free to add on...

:coolgleamA: Go Pickles! Go Panthers!

I pretty much can't stand the QB rating thing.

why? it's fairly accurate. if a qb has a passer rating of 60 for the year you know he pretty much shat the bed all season. 100+ indicates he was damn good.

it's not a perfect metric but it's a decent indicator of performance.
