In my opinion it's about taking the tournament around the world. That said, England hasn't had it for half a decade and we're one of the foremost footballing nations.

Russia have never had it, but they're going to REALLY struggle to get themselves up and running for it. The infrastructure simply isn't there, whereas you could host a WC tomorrow in England.

I remember watching a show on Qatar and all the stadiums they were going to be building all in close proximity to each other.

sucks though...no way in hell I'm going to Russia or Qatar anytime soon. Would have liked to go to a World Cup game. That being said, Brazil in 2014? Might be worth a trip
