Why has Molotov cocktail not been mentioned? I think Id have to come up with some MacGuyver type weapons to protect the family. Coupla fishing poles with some sharp metal edged device on the end and a tripwire for quick decapitation, maybe the old tar-in-the-trench to create a wall of flame that they cant get through or pull an A-Team and modify a vehicle that Mad Max would be impressed with...

I don't see how fire works...they don't feel anything so why would they stop. They'll just keep coming at you and more then likely set YOU on fire as well. Unless you're talking fire hose level of flame throwing.
