Hardy was a projected 1st at one time so was Lafell, Connor, Khali (sp) and I cant think of the others right at the second

He signed Jake, S Davis and several other FA cant remember them all at the moment...All of our 1st rounders have been starters and very good starters. Many good picks and a few bad ones..Dont have the time to go into detail playing COD and we have a 40 second break.

I could easily name you (more like go into great detail) into all of Hurney's utterly retarded FO Moves, Acquisitions, Drafting, horribly failing on his short stint on mortgaging the future to win now (now as in back in 08-09) etc.

For every good solid move by Hurney. He makes 2 horrendous ones in the process.

Hurney is overrated as all hell around here.

Or is that just as much of an unrealistic expectation?

Because Hurney's faults are solely based on his misfires in drafting.

If he only could have been armed with the same hindsight when making those moves that folks here use when evaluating him.

BTW. Trading picks for older veterans near the end of their careers is mortgaging the future. Trading picks to get young players earlier and developing them into your system is not.

The Colts do pretty good, and they generally pick very late in the rounds. They have a good GM.....

Ha, you're a dumbass. Richie Wiliams didn't get drafted, nor did any of the ASU QBs prior to him. So I guess having two straight top player awards means it's the "system" as opposed to the idea that the coaching staff actually, you know, RECRUITS good athletes to play at the QB position. I swear, if one more effing fan claims to know more about football than the professional scouts and personnel of an NFL franchise.....
