Yea, fans shouldn't discuss or debate anything on a message board.

What would you prefer we discuss? As I mentioned before, any discussion about a 1-10 team will automatically gravitate towards a discussion of the upcoming draft. And unfortunately, we will be watching NE pick at 33 because of a trade for a spindly wide receiver project.

Interesting how some folks interpret coaches decisions. They're stupid SOBs who can't mix up play calls or develop players, but the decision to leave certain players on the bench is 100% spot on since the player is a bust.

Go figure.

You seem to be implying that being ahead now, based on judgements by our current staff, means that Gettis & Lafell will always be ahead of Edwards. That's speculating that you know what the next offensive staff wilkl want and/or our current staff was 100% correct in keeping Edwards burried on the depth chart.

EDIT: I have no idea why "Brees" came off the keyboard. I guess because I knew Bledsoe and was considering adding the Rivers/Brees thing in SD.

LOL dude you are delusional. You have been proven wrong so many times its not funny and all you have to say is "Well you dont have a valid point". The funny fact is you dont have a valid point as to why Edwards will be anything... Not a single point.

In all predraft workouts, Edwards put up numbers on par with or bbetter than many other WR prospects. He's being labeled bust by some simply because our coaches haven't put him on the field on Sunday.

He is being labled a bust because of two factors. He cant play ST and the fact that Gettis and LaFell are making him a moot point.

He's shorter, quicker, more nimble, and as strong as the other WRs selected. He was also selected with an eye on performing KR/PR duties. Who does that sound like he's intended to replace?

AE was never seen as Strong by any means. Everyone knew he would have to bulk up to play in the NFL. Also you once again make my points valid because you say he was selected for KR/PR duties. Something he failed at horribly while Gettis has been solid at.

Any player on the bench for this team deserves to be there. It was the same reason Jarrett never made it off the bench and was deactivated for most games. I guess he is just waiting for the right coach too huh.

Most people dont like to face this but Fox is a good judge of talent. He might lack in a lot of spots but he is spot on with that. Its the reason Gettis was not put on the PS and the Reason why Jarrett is gone and AE is on the bench. Fox gave AE all Pre-season to prove he could contribute and he failed. Thus is why his ass is on the bench.

You may eventually accept that you are discounting him on minimal info. (Eventually means right after you grow up, drop the attempts at insults, and explain what makes you think he'll never amount to anything.) Proven wrong? All you've done is state opinions same as me. You've seen something like 3 or 4 of his very first attempts at fielding returns and that was 5 months ago.

BTW, we don't need yet another player who can only contribute to one spot. We have plenty of those in Lloyd, Kasay, Baker, & Jansen. Gettis fell into returns as a whole package. That doesn't mean that he will always hold that spot.

Edwards was drafted as a project. Everybody knew he would need to develop into the role. You and others foolishly are willing to throw him away now rather than allow the development. Patience.

Edwards benched 225# 2 more reps than Gettis, 2 less than Lafell (maybe reversed)

Don't forget that Fox is such a great judge of offensive talent that we were forced to watch a couple years of Foster chugging along for 3 yards a carry while Deangelo watched from the sideline. We all thought Deangelo was a bust and so did the team or they wouldn't have ever drafted Stewart. Once they had no choice but to give Deangelo some carries, what do you know but he turns into an all pro. Foxs stupidity means we wasted two prime years of Deangelos productivity and drafted a RB we didn't really need to take his place when we could have drafted a player that would have been an every down starter instead. I would agree that, overall, Fox is pretty good at spotting defensive talent but I have zero faith in his ability to know a good RB, WR or even QB from a bad one and that's why his time here is coming to an end.

The fact that he has so far had a long transition. He is yet to make the field on what started out as a weak WR unit. Why is it so hard for you to believe that sometimes players dont work out and there are bad picks...

I have presented several facts. I know its hard for some of yall to believe but Armanti is teh god!!!!!111!! is not a fact. Nor dose it disprove anything I have said.

      Our Oline is decent, but the roster itself isn't very good.   It seems Bryce is a step slow mentally. He's missing wide open WR's at times. That's inexcusable. For whatever reason he forgot how to play QB at the NFL level. Sure our culture sucks, but damn we gave him a pretty decent Oline this year and upgraded the skill positions slightly.   My only thing is we gave him 2 weeks. That seems a bit unfair. Maybe 4 weeks in if he's still playing like trash you move on. My only thought is Canales doesn't want him. He made the decision to move on early. It is what it is.
