oh and just for the record, I really don't see Kolb winding up here in Carolina but possibly with the Vikings... They are more desperate for a QB then we are...

How are they more desperate than we are for a QB? Have you seen the crap we are putting out there on the field offensively this year?

If we were going WCO, why would we trade for Kolb when you have Clausen?. His game style is more WCO than what we currently run.

Not to mention you said if we had a top 10 pick bundling that plus players for Kolb? Hell no. This is like trading for Sean Gilbert all over again with the pants down for someone not even proven. Atleast Gilbert was proven...

Well unlike a a lot people on here, I am the one of the few who believe that Clausen isn't as bad as most people make him out to be and would be better fitted in a different scheme.

Philly likely won't give up Kolb and we won't be trading for him. As for Luck and being in a WCO offense, he definitely is in one. But people often forget that a WCO offense is more about philosophy than scheme and there are a number of different variations. With as often as we run, I doubt we run a traditional WCO, but we could definitely run a version of one that used the pass early to set up the run game later on. Some of the most prolific offenses right now use the WCO- Houston, Green Bay, Baltimore, Eagles, etc.

Y'all are aware that Toby Gerhart played at Stanford last year, right? The Toby Gerhart that rushed 343 times. In college.

Stanford rushed 536 times in 2009. They passed only 313 times. They were not "passing to set up the run."

I swear.

The only concerns I have seen mentioned about Luck are that he is technically more of a game manager than anything, so I am a little concerned about a guy who might be going to a franchise that has no other facet working.

This season he has started to show he can take over games as well, however I am not going to view him as this can't fail prospect that most want to believe that he is.

I've heard a lot of chatter about how Vick has done great picking up all the nuances in that offense that are difficult to execute.. I don't know if I agree that the Eagles offense is easy, by any means..

It may not be easy, as I really don't think any O is in the NFL, but it sure has made McNabb, Vick, and Kolb look like really good QB's.

And I am not sold on any of them.
