Williams wants to stay in Carolina

This could be debated forever. The fact of the matter is some think running backs are a dime a dozen and some do not. Kdrh5, if RB's are a dime a dozen, how many elite running backs or very good running backs has Carolina had in its history? If they are a dime a dozen, seems we would have a lot since we have always been a run first team. 2 is my answer by the way in 15 years.

I know we spent a lot of money and draft picks trying to find Stephen Davis. Since then, we have spent additional money and draft picks trying to find his replacement. We have found his replacement (same skill level but different style) and many of you want to let him walk because you don't want to pay him now. Amazing...that is all I can say.

Yeah we all know having a top running back is integral to winning championships. You can't win one of those with a guy like Willie Parker or Joseph Addai or Antwan Smith or Pierre Thomas.

How many elite ANYTHING have we had in our short history?

You obviously have not been a fan for very long. As such, I will not even attempt to answer this question because you would just disagree anyway. Dr5-why are you even a Panther fan? Seem to be pretty negative to me.

Oh god, you're questioning my fanhood now. LOL

Guy is soft and has quit on us two seasons in a row now. If he wanted to stay he should have shown it.

And even if you disagree with my assessment, then you at least can acknowledge that he's injury prone, is easily replaceable, and is not worth the money he will likely be entitled to.
