Albermarle road had lots of good restaurants on it like Gradys, Casa Galardos and Rock Ola. (also Daryls which i didnt like that much)

There was an Ivys downtown.

The Christmas Bears at Eastland mall and Eastland mall rocked and was insanely crowded especially at Christmas.

Speaking of window displays, there was a lingerie shop (can't think of the name of it) at Pecan and Independence that used live models in its display case facing Independence back in the 70s.

Allen cut my hair at the central park barber shop from the time i was five until just a few years ago. He is still there cutting hair in the first chair!

No way! I just figured it had been sold and quit going when we moved out to Indian Trail.

I'll have to stop by there then, Allen always cut mine and my dads hair for years.
