Jim Skipper a factor for D-Will in the offseason...

Since I wouldn't know where to even begin researching this maybe I can ask you guys. Do positional coaches ever stay when the head coach leaves? Not during a mid season firing, but I mean when Fox is gone is there a realistic chance that Skipper or Meeks would remain here? Do new HC's ever retain the services of the old regime's guys?

50/50.

sometimes there is a complete housecleaning and everyone is fired. sometimes the HC leaves and some of his coaches leave with him, following him to the next team.

sometimes it's just the HC that is replaced and most of the staff stays.

sometimes the new HC gets to pick his own staff and replaces everyone with his guys.

anything can happen. the way it sounds, though, richardson won't be wanting to keep anyone around. i don't think there has been anything remotely definitive said, though. probably depends on what the new HC wants to do.

skips gone
probably so, but i think it depends on him following fox if he gets a HC job. if fox doesn't get an HC job, then skipper will probably be hoping to stick around here.

i wouldn't be opposed to it, but i won't cry if he isn't retained either.
