I agree that as a WR he needs to be given a shot to play. I would love to see him in the open field. I also think that just his presence on the field would draw attention. In the open field he can be dangerous. He isn't the answer at QB, EVER so all the ApplST fans need to leave the Glory Days behind and hope he develops into the WR we drafted him to be.

It's hard to shine as a WR on this team right now, so why send him in? It's not like a QB can intentionally make more than a 7-8 yard pass right now more than once a game. So really, why bother?

And why haven't they put him in at QB? What, to get him killed behind our O-line? What good will that do?

And what makes you think that the decision to keep him away from QB right now is being made at Fox's level? Someone higher up may be waiting for next season.
