Bad Calls Hurt Today

From the first play today when a roughing penalty should have been called on the Brown's sideline. To that hard hit that caused an incomplete pass in the endzone but instead gave the Browns a TD. To that travisty of justice regarding the sideline catch. Multipule obvious holds that weren't called. Reminded me of the Cowboy's of old referees.

As close as the game was today one of those bad calls could have cost us the game.

The refs were just pissed because they drew the card to call the Panthers/Browns game. Give em a break.

Rather than "we got screwed" its more hate to see bad calls alter the outcome.

What I really hated was the statement the call, on the hit in the endzone, says about the direction the game is taking. If this rule stands as is; this a season that will change NFL Football and not for the better.

I agree that the hit in the endzone call was bad but don't forget there was also a (correct) illegal contact penalty on the same play that would have given them a first down anyway so it was really pretty much a moot point.

Yeah, there were some bad calls in the game and not in our favor, but we still could have won the game. There are bad calls in every game, every week, every year. Still have to out score the other team, we didn't.

Yeah that was the "should'a, would'a, could'a part of my initial post. Were it any other Panthers team I'd say the would'a capitalzed. Have my doubts about this team.

But HEY! Yesterday's game was fun to watch. Kind'a like the old Cardiac Cats.
