Why would Harbaugh tell him team he's leaving when they're fighting for a BCS bowl? (Which they'll obviously get)

"Hey guys, I'm going to the NFL next year, so let's end this season by kicking a$$ and taking names. Who knows? Maybe next year you'll be on my pro team!"

Something along those lines, perhaps.
