Everyone dose know he was placed on IR this season so the panthers have leverage to resign him right???? He would have only been out 3 weeks... If anyone gets traded it will be Stewart. Goodson is young and Dwill is a better RB than Stewart. He is a core player like it or not.

I am wondering if it would be possible to place the franchise tag on RB DeAngelo Williams and trade him for draft picks? Or, would we be better off trading Stewart,or just keeping them both.

If we decided to trade either Williams or Stewart,what do you think their trade value would be?Thoughts.....

With both Stew and DeAngelos injury rate being what it has been the last two years- we ought to be keeping both of them along with goodson and suttton

it's easy to not see the pink polka dotted elephant in the room when you refuse to open your eyes.

Williams is the one whose contract is up, and he is the one that will most likely be gone (if any of them are gone). No point in paying a boatload of money for Williams when we have two perfectly good running backs in Stewart and Goodson, and we need so much in other areas. Its not about the individual, its about whats best for the team.

I like what I am seeing from Goodson, but he reminds me a lot of Felix Jones. I think we need to keep all 3. As much as we run the ball, injuries will always be a concern. Reality is we will rarely have 3 healthy backs. Goodson and Stewart do not cost much money now b/c they are under rookie contracts. No way we get rid of either of them unless another team is willing to give us a high draft pick.

Something tells me Richardson is not dumb enough to let another top player leave Carolina. The fans are already about to have a melt down. I honestly think Williams is a top 3 back in the NFL. Who is better other than CJ and Peterson?

Michael Turner doesn't get the respect he deserves.

Deangello is the most gifted, but Turner isn't as far behind as a lot of people think (**when healthy)

No. Stewart is not better than Williams. Not in 2 years. I don't see him eclipsing as our best back. DeAngelo #1 Stewart #2

Just by looking at your screen name...who do you think is the best back on the team, why?? I love Stewart, but as far as best all around and complete back, he's definantly behind DeAngelo.
