Question: Why hasn't Sam Mills been on these lists the last couple years? I'm not familiar with how their voting process works and how they whittle down the list, but I know he was on there a couple years back...

I believe it's up to the selction committee to write in nominees every year, and it's narrowed down to 17 finalists.

Mills has fallen off in these votes apparently. A senior selection committee considers players 25 years out of the game. This may be the next time he's considered.
