10 point spread is alot in the nfl. The Browns have won 3 games, they are not a contender. Yes Mccoy had a good showing agaisnt new england and Hillis is on a tear right now. Delhomme is starting at qb and he's more likely to throw more picks than td's. Yes he'll be fired up against us, but he was also fired up against arizona in the playoffs when he melted down.

We are getting some players back from injury that we didnt have last week, and Clausen love him, hate him, or somewhere in between gives us a much better shot than Pierre did agaisnt B-more..who was also favored by 10. Only difference is we were at home and honestly that doesent give us much of an advantage this year. I just dont see the Browns having that much of an advantage against us.

Yes I do think we'll lose but I think we can also keep it competitive as well.

spreads got nothing to do w/ being a Superbowl contender. It has to do w/ how you are playing. Again, if you have watched the Browns play football the last 4-5 weeks.....they should be heavy favorite and that is w/ or w/o their rookie QB. Again, McCoy ain't Peyton Manning. The Browns are playing good football.

Clausen coming back isn't an advantage. It is a mute point. Tampa < Baltimore. We were in that game late despite the final score. I can't beleive after one St. Pierre start people are now trying to paint Clausen as better than what he has shown.

I'm gonna stay outta this thread until after the game. If we lose by 10 or more then I'll admit I was wrong.

I just think we have a chance at winning this or at least keeping closer than 10.

It is a simple question of where does the offense come from.

Cleveland is better stopping the run than Carolina. In addition to being better at stopping the run the Browns lead the NFL in the fact they have ONLY allowed 3 rushing scores the entire season. We don't even run the ball that well.....in fact Carolina has scored the fewest rushing TDs in the NFL.

on the flip side, Cleveland has scored the 4th most TDs on the ground. Carolina is tied for 15th in terms of giving up rushing TDs.

That is a glaring mismatch.

Jimmy Clausen has multiple NFL starts and hasn't come close to putting a single player in the endzone on a designed pass play.

So my only question is if we have a legit shot at beating them.....how is it done besides completely going against everything both teams have proven to be? I mean anything can happen in the NFL, we know that. But if both teams prove to be overall what they have proven to be....Cleveland should win fairly easily at home.

I'm pulling for the upset. Anything can happen in sports. I just don't see how to argue it being a realistic outcome.
