Anyone who watched Lucas this year and didn't think he was an easy target to throw against probably knows little about football. He was a target for QB's to exploit all year. I think that he needs to be gone.

Jarrett improved in his second season. I'd like to see if he can continue that. More pressing needs elsewhere IMHO.

This is what I think, just make the move and give Jarrett #2. We see rookie WRs make an immediate impact all the time, and Jarrett is going into his third year. Time to see what he's got!

Jarrett gets thrown in once every 25 plays, if he's active. The guy gets virtually no shots, and believe it or not, actually made the most of his 10 grabs the entire year.

He needs more opportunities. He can get open, I think in his third year, if they give him more opportunities to get split out wide he can end up with a decent 50 grabs.

It would be nice to have a talent like Chad Johnson actually. But he would have to be reborn again in order for our FO to consider him.

We don't need another elite WR. We have to weapons to be an effective passing team we just don't use them. Nor does Jake have the balls to play like he did in SD again.

If Jake can spread the ball around we won't need a guy like TJ or Boldin to be our #2. Jake's got plenty of weapons to help free up Smith he just has to use them.

ding, ding, ding, ding!!!! With a 3 wide receiver set Smitty is always doubled which means somebody should be wide @ss open. I think Jarrett has it but he is in Foxy's doghouse not to mention the Delhomme factor.

Ive said it once and im sticking to it. I would love to bring in Maclin if we had the pick. Think of the upgrade at WR and KR and PR duties. Maclin is the man.
