What's the point in this.

Arizona has the most winnable games at 5.

Carolina has 4 but depends on Atlanta sitting and Seattle is tough @ home.

Detroit has 4 winnable games.

Buffalo has 4 winnable games.

Cincinnati has 3 Winnable games cause weird things always happen with Pitt.

We really need Cincy to get another win.

I could easily see Arizona doubling their win total before the season ends.

The season still has 6 weeks to go, but I thought we could start looking at SOS standings since that will be the first tiebreaker for the #1 pick. Currently we are the lone team with 1 win, but I foresee us winning another game or two. If that is the case we will surely end up in a tie with another team for the pick. Based on that I’ve included the SOS for Carolina, teams with two wins, and Arizona ( the only 3 win team who is bad enough to not win another game).

The rules states that the team who played the weaker schedule (combine the team’s opponent records, and the record with the less combined wins is deemed the weaker schedule) wins the tie breaker and gets the pick because “They played a weaker schedule, thus they are the weaker team”. Currently it’s very close and could be anyone’s pick!

Team........Record.....Opponets Record.....%

Carolina......1-9.................91-69..........57%

Cincinnati....2-8.................91-69..........57%

Buffalo.......2-8..................92-68..........58%

Detroit.......2-8..................89-71..........56%

Arizona......3-7..................72-88..........45%

Since divisional opponents count twice (because you play them twice) I am going to be rooting even more than usual against them!

Where did you find their opponents win % at for all the teams in question?

I'd be curious to know what it is for the other 3 win teams like san fran, dallas and Minnesota, and Detroit..just so we can cover all of our bases.

This will will give us a slightly better picture of things... As the season draws to a close, we'll know a lot more about our own team and other teams every week.

This week especially offers the Panthers the best opportunity to get on track and prevent falling to the #1 pick, imo.

Who wants to get on track at this point? We want the number 1 pick..

Keep in mind guys, we already lost to Cincy head to head.. so we have the tie breaker there, even if we do win another game, we will pick before them.

That being said, Buffalo and Detroit don't really need a QB so I doubt they take Luck. Arizona has 3 wins already, and I doubt we win 2 more games this season, so I am not seeing them as a threat.

I think Luck is 100% ours "if" he declares.

Don't think head to head matters in draft position.
