Colin Cowherd

I enjoy watching the herd because Colin acts like he is the Einstein of sports. He always knows everything and his predictions are just the same as everyone else. I don't want a unproven college coach. Sure he has been a NFL coach before but he hasn't proved poo. He was an offensive assistant for Oakland in 02 and qb coach in 03 where he had to coach 4 qbs that year and his qbs had a great qb rating of 65. I don't judge him on that performance though because the Raiders suck and even Randy Moss had bad years for Oakland.

I personally would like to get a coach that can play the 3-4 defense and likes running the ball. We need a coach that can knows what to do with the players we have. We are loaded at Running back,Linebacker will be set next year and our secondary isn't bad. So why not switch to the 3-4 defense where we can draft a much needed DT and then we will only have to worry about replacing one DT instead of our crappy two DT. I think the 3-4 Defense is going to be our next big change not offense.

I don't know that Luck, or Harbaugh for that matter, would be smart moves for us...

If so, you might as well get rid of Hurney for drafting Clausen... I don't want to go into a season with Clausen and Luck (or another rookie QB for that matter) fighting it out... The loser of that battle will pretty much be seen as a busted pick, and will carry little to zero trade value...

The smart thing to do would be fix the parts around our QB that are more broken... Start with the OL, maybe get another WR who is a solid #1 (there are a few in this draft)... Get our backs healthy... Get rid of Davidson... Then give Clausen the reigns and tell him that there are no excuses... Bring in a veteran as an insurance policy to at least keep us respectable if Clausen sinks...

Also, we need to get some LB depth and a solid DT...

Fix the bad play calling and the lack of protection, and the offense looks exponentially better... Patch the defense up a little and keep them hungry, and we'll be back in contention... regardless of who the QB is... If we can win games with Jake Delhomme as the QB, we can win them with anyone...
