Weird.... I haven't seen this in reguards to Josh Freeman. Even after last year when he had one of the worst interception rates ever.

Because Freeman still showed flashes of being good despite the INTs in his rookie season. Most of those INTs were a result of him trying to make things happen to come back in games. You must not have been on this board a few years back when Freeman was selected by the Bucs. I vividly recall Panther fans clowning the hell outta Tampa for taking him that high. Its easy to sing these guys praises when they're doing well, but look at what people say about them when they aint or before they're proven. QBing in the NFL is about highs and lows, peaks and valleys.

Let me ask you a question. Do you think the Panthers would draft a young black QB in the 1st round like the Tampa Bay Bucs did with Josh Freeman and deem him the "future"? And do you think that has benefited the Bucs this season theyhateme45?

Nah, we'll be laughing at our QBs and how sorry they are eating stuffing and gravy. Tripping off just how bad it has gotten and how desperate we look to the rest of the world as I slice a piece of turkey. Not too dry though, cuz I cant stand dry turkey. We'll all probably try to remember the last time one of our QBs strung together 2 good drives in a row as I pass the candy yams around. We'll all take a moment of silence and bless the food, and pray for our defense, as no matter how many big plays or takeaways we get, our "leaders" on offense cant do nothing wit it! And we'll all give thanks that no matter how many INTs, no matter how boring it gets, no matter how many losses pile up, we stay away from them young black QBs. Amen.

Ok but back to the facts. Young's actions on the field and in the locker room are childish. He has the metal capacity of a 5 year old who doesn't get what they want. He can't handle the pressure. He just can't.

Great Player, but you have to know there's a ton of controversy surrounding him right now.

I'd be happy with that pick, only question would be what's his draft value, and I'm not qualified to make that distinction. Nor do I think that can be determined until his investigation is over.

One thing I will say, after all the headaches Vick gave our defense for years, you'd think a mobile QB would be an option we'd explore.

How bout a college bar in a rural GA town pulling their dick out for the ladies? Does that count? That one must've totally blipped from your mind huh? A 2 time Super Bowl winning QB with his goons trying to "pull hoes"

Fact is, Fisher sucks as a coach and what he says dont matter because Bud is in Vince's corner. He can lie all he wants and the media can spin this all it wants to make you guys feel better, but at the end of the day, Vince is their guy. There's something really wrong with a head coach eager to bench his starting QB who's won games for him and is his best option on his roster. This was the 2nd time this year Vince had been benched and he has a winning record as a starter this year.

Yep, if QB was a need and there was a stud qb who was black I believe the panthers would draft him.

Also to say the Panther fans clown the pick is not looking at the big picture. I'm usually on the draft day chats every year, and the forums around draft time... the board as a whole clowns EVERY pick other teams in the NFC south makes.... Hell Matt Ryan was clowned... it's what the board does because noone like to be positive about other teams in the NFC south.

If there was a deserving "Black QB" I would be campaining for him... This year this is only 1 QB I would personally want us to take... Luck. Not Mallet, not Newton, Not Locker. Luck I am sold on... the other 3 not so much.... Not because of their skin color, but what I've seen on the field.

The Golden Calf of Bristol was a pick that got clowned by everyone.... He was the one guy I said I would have to question this team if we drafted... Others felt the same way. He was white. Just never bought that The Golden Calf of Bristol hype and still never will!
