Turmoil in Tennessee

If one of our QBs in Carolina won 30 of their first 50 games, went 2 pro bowls, won Rookie Of The Year, and led our team to the playoffs within their first 2 years he would be a God on this board. You wouldnt be able to convince people on this board that our QB is one of the best in the league and the "great hope" we've been waiting on for 15 years. If our head coach benched him prematurely everyone on this board would throw Fox under the bus for ruining and mishandling our future. But if he's black all that goes out the window. He's emotionally fragile, he isnt proven, he's automatically at fault, blah blah blah. As soon as Vince bounces back like he did last year, all yall will hop right back on his nuts. Guarantee it.

lol Jake took us to the SB within 2 years and played lights out in the playoffs. Yet he was continuously bashed time and time again. Try again.

I prefer someone who doesn't threaten to kill themselves after getting booed by fans.

Mr. Scot you are gonna get the KT on you. Just because he acts like a b*tch doesn't mean he is one. He's average, but he's black so he must be great. Someone needs to be blatantly honest with KT and just say that if black QBs were better at their job and handled the non football side better there wouldn't be the issues.

Because Jake became a turnover machine. Jake also never came in as a Rookie Of The Year and went to 1 pro bowl because Don McNabb got hurt in 05. When he was winning and playing well, he was treated like a God on this board. Hell, early on, when he wasnt playing well, he was still treated like a God. Vince Young has never had a season as bad as Jake Delhomme did in 2008 and 2009. He'd have to try really hard to.

I prefer someone who actually wins games and gets results. Trust if our QBs were as good as VY is, we'd be happy as a pig in slop. Right now we have to settle for 80 yard passing days, and more pick 6s than TDs because we desperately want to see a white QB succeed for us. We're the laughing stock of the NFL because of that.

^^^another example of why Carolina is afraid to go after a black QB. This "myth" must be protected at all costs. No matter how many 80 yard passing games one of our white QBs puts up, TheRealDeal has been programmed to only believe a white man can succeed at QB. I mean he basically admits it! But the only dude in this thread people will try to check and change is a black guy. Me. LMAO.

The pro bowl and ROTY means nothing - he got ROTY that with a 66 passer rating - it's a popularity contest. Jake didn't become a turnover machine until 08, people were calling for a new QB well before that.

Anyway I'm not trying to defend Jake. I just wanted to point out your failed troll attempt.

Im happy for Vince. Jeff Fisher never wanted him or has stood behind him. He deserves to play for a better organization that isnt gonna ditch him the second he throws an INT. Vince should look into coming into the NFC East. He's played well against their teams, and chances are he'll receive better coaching (a la Vick in Philly) to take his game to the next level than he's gonna get playing for Fisher. Fisher is a dumbass, and doesnt have the ability to coach a talent like Vince.

LOL! I haven't been on here in months. Some how I knew you would be going to bat for him no matter the facts. Vince is not a leader. Vince cannot handle adversity. Vince is emotionally unstable. Vince does not put in the work to be a great NFL qb.

Good to see things haven't changed

He has never had as good of a season as Jake's best either.....

Yea, and btw, VY went to both Pro Bowl's because of injury as well.

VY has career numbers very close to The Rex Grossman. Grow up KT.

We now see what the motivating factor last season for Vince's comeback was. It was Fisher all along. That drive, that determination, those plays, the poise he displayed were all him trying to prove his stubborn immature coach wrong. I said all along that Vince couldnt trust Fisher after that stunt he pulled last season. And I was right. I think Vince comes back even better in 2011. Its on now bitches.

It seems ownership still wants to see this thing work between the two parties, so we'll see how it all shakes out. And I dont blame them, Vince is the best they got, and they're paying him alot of money. But trust if they did cut him, someone would ****** him up quicker than you can say Doug Williams. Everybody wants to run from race when it comes to these black QBs, but its there, the purple and teal elephant in the room. They are judged and scrutinized differently.

Vince is a winning QB in this league. He's peformed better than any of his '06 peers. We wish our young QBs were as good as him and had his success. Thats a fact. But Im glad I could bring you outta lurk mode. Happy Thanksgiving! Lets have a BBQ.

Weird.... I haven't seen this in reguards to Josh Freeman. Even after last year when he had one of the worst interception rates ever.
