Turmoil in Tennessee

no the owner bud adams is a texas guy. he loves v-cry because of what he did in college and is blinded by that. here in nashville i hear a lot more than you do about what went on. a lot of things are kept under wraps, they protect v-cry more than you know.

also a lot is said of a man who apologizes by text message.

Protect him from what? Yall might not realize this, but slavery ended a long time ago. If Vince is such a problem and nuisance, just get rid of him. Its not hard really. But this "you coloreds better respect white authority or else" attitude needs to go. You wanna put Vince in his place? CUT HIS ASS! GET RID OF HIM! I mean he sucks right? No one will take a chance on him right? Just like you guys said about Vick right? Rusty Smith and Kerry Collins are good enough to carry the load. Why wont they get rid of him Southcakalac? Could it be because he's their best QB and gives them the best chance to win despite their coach?

yeah on that roster he is the best qb when things are going his way. fisher would get rid of him if he could. like i said bud adams and the rest of texas still fawn over this guy for what he did in college. so fisher can't get rid of him.

there is not that much talent on their roster at qb anyways. who said anything about slavery? this city is turning on him for his actions and he is not going to be able to handle it.

one thing bad about fisher and his staff. they are a horrible judge of character. v-cry, pac-man and haynesworthless.

I love how you keep quoting Vince Young's record. so what you are trying to say is that for the entire time Young has almost singlehandedly won the Titans their games, despite Jeff Fisher? so those years when he had some of the best defenses, it was all Vince Young? that's ridiculous. Vince Young, if you have noticed, also has the best HB in the NFL in his backfield, but he's still not winning games.

BTW, just to let you know, the Titans played their best season when Kerry Collins was their QB, not Vince Young.

this entire argument is as stupid as saying we aren't giving white HB's a chance. Look at Peyton Hillis and how well he has done. obviously the media hasn't given any white HB a chance. it's obvious that NFL teams are racist when it comes to having a white HB

Nothing says "come play for me I'll have your back" like pulling your winning starting QB in a game you still have a chance to win.

The one where his injured hand wouldn't even let him throw a straight pass on the sideline? The one he's having surgery for? I mean, come on, did you see the trajectory of his shoulderpads throw? Clearly off target. IR.

Or spending the next week throwing him under the bus in the media to make yourself look good because your team is falling apart. Vince wisely is keeping quiet, his owner has already come out in support of him, so there's really not much he needs to say. We aint heard too much from him except "I just want to play". Its Fisher who is the one acting immature and quite bitchlike in the media right about now.

Mmmkay.

The only source for Vince crying and throwing his equipment into the stands at fans is Jeff Fisher. Its amazing in today's internet age that I havent been able to find a single pic or clip of Vince doing this. Have you? Or is the word of Jeff Fisher enough? Jeff Fisher is still talking to the media 3 days later throwing his QB under the bus. He has to shift public perception that he isnt incompentent, so I understand. Telling the media Vince sent him texts? LMAO. Just the other day he said he wasnt speaking to him. Now Vince is apologizing to him via text.

Wow... really? It's that easy? You missed something I said. I wasn't intending a trap but you fell into it anyway.... Wow.

I understand Fisher's dilemma though, his QB is Rusty Smith and he has to make people forget that. Fisher is no Andy Reid, he's no Bill Walsh. He's just your average defensive minded conservative football coach who's lucky he has an owner who's been super loyal to him. Jeff Fisher's football team this season is very undisciplined and fading fast. Unless he's cut (which would be even better for him), Vince Young will be the starter in Tennessee in 2011. You can take that to the bank. And there's really not much Jeff Fisher can do about it, unless he can somehow manage to bring in a better QB. Because right now, Vince is hands down the best 1 he's got, no matter how bad he tries to ruin him, Bud is gonna just go over his head again.

Oh dear, you think I'm defending Fisher don't you? Well, to be fair, I am, but its indirect. Or are you saying Felicia lied?

Rusty Smith along with Jeff Fisher are gonna be even better than they were with Vince and go storming into the playoffs.

Is it fun killing strawmen?

 My dude, VY has gotten off to a better start in the NFL than any QB our team has ever drafted. He won rookie of the year. He improves every season. I said it before, if any of our QBs had his resume you would buy their jersey and tell us all how they're the future. VY has a winning record in every season he's played. His QB rating this year, you know the year he's showing "immaturity" and that he "cant lead as a QB in the NFL" is higher than any Panther QB ever. If we manage to get a QB as good as VY we'll be a much better team and win more football games.

2009

Tennessee Titans start 0-6 with Chris Johnson, and Kerry Collins QBing for them.

Vince Young steps in, the team immediately goes 8-2 and Johnson ends up having a 2,000 yard season. Jeff Fisher manages to save his job and the Titans avoid a nightmare losing season.Vince gave that team a spark, not saying he did it all by himself. But the way he stepped in and showed poise and made the plays that needed to be played was the main factor why they turned that season around.

look back to the 2009 schedule. The first 6 games were against teams that went 8-8 or better. The worst team was Jacksonville, who I guess you also think has an under utilized QB in David Garrard.

The next 10 games were against much worse competition. And yes, Vince Young did have alot to do with their turnaround. Is he better than Kerry Collins? yeah of course. I don't think there is very many people who are going to say otherwise. but he had ZERO pressure on him to perform. The expectations were low because of their torrid start. Matt Moore is a great example. He looked amazing at the end of last year when the pressure was low. But when he played this year, he looked lost.

and I love how you say Jeff Fischer is a bad coach. True, he might not be the best, but their are people who have worked in the industry who say that he is still atleast a decent coach, and I would take their opinion over that of a man crying racist.

When all else fails play the race card.

Yep. Someone tell KT that Marc Bulger started out something like 20-5 as a starter. He was much better than Kurt Warner and pushed Warner out of St. Louis. Records mean nothing unless you have a quarterback who is getting you three touchdowns a game and leading the team in the process.
