Anybody know his contract status? I don't know what Bill fans think about him, but he has been lighting it up..in BUFFALO. I would much rather have a young veteran over an unknown rookie. This guy has really impressed me this year..

I like where you are going with bringing in someone with experience but this thread shows how fickle NFL fans are...

A week ago he was 0-9 and now he is 2-9. A week ago he was the worst QB in the leauge and now we are talking about bringing him to Carolina.

buffalo fans are really high on Fitz, and so are the coaches.

his win/loss record is more than a bit misleading. he has cost them games but he has also put them in position to win games.

I don't want him to be a Panther, but I hope the Bills keep him so even if they beat us to #1, they don't take Luck. :P

Hmm not really. I noticed since the day he took over for Trent Edwards because I picked him up on my fantasy team. So I've been watching him for most of the season, and been very impressed. Its just now that I started to wonder if the Bills did get the 1st pick if they would pass on Luck and stick with him, or trade him and get Luck, or trade their pick. I would rather have Fitz over Luck at this point.

Why would you say that?

I would like nothing more than for Clausen to continue to grow and excel.

I do not see a problem with having 2 good quarterbacks. I would love to be in the position to have to decide between two great players.

Because if Clausen somehow pulls it together and plays great down the stretch, we may not draft Luck let alone be given the opportunity to draft him. Why draft a QB if Clausen can prove he is the future?

He hasn't started every game. Buffalo has been playing some football in recent weeks.....instead of winnin the last 2 they easily could have won the last 5. They have been in all those games.
