Is he going broke or is he really sick? The last I heard about his health, he was doing a lot better. I haven't heard anything about the financial state of the Carolina Panthers. If he is going broke, this would explain some of the cheap personnel that we've been signing...B. St. Pierre. He has never been a member of the 53, we got him off the streets. There's got to be other QB's out there thats better, since we obviously have no faith in Pike or Armanti at the helm. We'll just waste draft picks and talent and sign Pierre instead of seeing what we've got, a proper evaluation. Who's making these decisions? What gives....

I don't think he's going broke or currently having any financial issues. If he was then he never would have offered Peppers a gigantic contract for this year, or sign Delhomme for a bunch of money during 2009. A possible lock-out is believable; it's happened before to the NBA & NHL. My prediction is he's saving a lot of money for a new coach, free agents & re-sign some significant players such as D-Williams. Maybe he wanted us to suck on purpose so we could have a #1 pick. Who knows
