If Cowher is head coach next season, I think he would want Ryan Mallet as his QB. So if it were possible he would trade down to either the third, fourth, or fifth overall pick to draft him. (along getting some much needed draft picks from the trade). There are so many ways for the Panthers to handle this, they can really come out and be the victors of the NFL 2011 draft. (And if there is no season next year, that would make us the unofficial champions for that year.)

Harbaugh / Luck is by far the best scenario.

Too bad Richardson is once again going to go defense in a league where you need offense to survive.

If nothing else, there are alot of teams in need of a QB next year and with Luck being clearly the best of the lot, the #1 pick will fetch a huge amount of draft picks in a trade to the highest bidder.

Clausen might fetch some value to the right team if we get Luck.

He isn't that good in college.

This season Luck has been a man among children, and showed such ability as early as last year.

Mallet does not have the footwork or mechanics to be a 1st round pick. He reminds me of Derek Anderson except with an even bigger arm.
