I said before the deadline we should work out an extension or trade him. You do NOT want to let him hit FA and then have to outbid other teams. Also, if you had contract talks before the deadline you could gauge what he wanted money wise and still trade him if it was obvious he was going to be too expensive. Seriously, what the f**k has the FO been doing? This is one of your best players and your just gonna kinda wait and see what happens.

If we franchise him, then that's just another Peppers situation and who the f**k wants that. And hell the new CBA may remove the franchise tag completely, so that may not even be an option.

And the FO had multiple calls from teams wanting to trade for him and wouldn't even hear out offers but yet they're not working out a contract either? At least before the deadline you had options, now you're faced with the possibility of DWill walking and getting nothing and seriously, why the f**k would he want to resign here?
