If it truly is the case that he wants to get fired in order to distance himself from this mess, I'd thwart that strategy by leaving him in charge.

Yes, doing so could possibly make things worse, but let's face it. This year is lost, and there's not much benefit in letting Fox get paid for nothing while also giving him an out to say "hey, it wasn't my fault".

There is zero reason to fire him. And it's not just this thread, but people keep saying we need to see the rookies play the rest of the way. Just who do you all mean? Clausen? Seen it. He'll be back. Pike? Welcome to the current fiasco. Gettis? Plays. LaFell? Plays. Edwards? Ok, there's ONE. The rest are just life long back-ups who some we're even seeing due to injuries: Vaughan, Harris, etc. It isssssss what it issssss. Can't wait for this trainwreck to be over.
