So Jerry, the Dallas Jerry not ours, had balls to fire Wade-Fox should go

Anyone who'd prefer Jerry Jones over Jerry Richardson needs to fellate a handgun with the safety off.

Pretty much.

"Passion for winning" is meaningless if you're not smart enough to know how to make it happen and too egotistical to realize you're the problem and really should step back and hand the reins to someone who knows what they're doing.

Heck, Al Davis has a heart for winning. Unfortunately for Raider fans, he also has a brain for losing.

Pam Oliver really raked Jones over the coals this past Sunday, but never once did he admit the real problem was him. He won't even entertain the notion. If we had a guy like that, we'd be sad fans, indeed.

As an owner and a GM, Jerruh has 3 Super Bowl trophies.

Our Jerry couldn't carry Jone's jock to this point.

The Cowboys are probably the best known, most profitable NFL franchise in the world. They have a new Mausoleum that is a tribute to their Franchise.

Yeah wins have been at a premium as of late, but the Cowboys have a more recent Playoff win than the Panthers.

Not sure questioning Jone's intelligence is warranted.

The Cowboys big run of the early 90s owes way more to Jimmy Johnson, the lack of a salary cap and an idiot in the Minnesota Vikings front office than it does to Jerry Jones.

The cap was instituted in 1994, but its effects really took hold of the Cowboys around 1996. By then, the rest of the league had caught up and some of the talent Jimmy Johnson had stockpiled began to get old or injured. The last gasp of the Cowboy machine that Johnson had built was the 96 playoff game against the Panthers. After that, Jones lack of football smarts was really exposed.

Without the ability to just outspend everyone and with the afterglow from Jimmy Johnson gone, the Cowboys became mediocrity personified for the next six years. They had only one winning season between 1997 and 2002 and one 500 season. Both of those times they were one and done in the playoffs.

Jones did do the smart thing in 2003 by hiring Bill Parcells and letting him run the team. Parcells picked up good talent and made the team relevant again, but even with Parcells leading the team still only managed two playoffs appearances, both of which were embarrassing defeats.

Unfortunately for Cowboys fans, Jones saw Parcells lack of playoff success as proof that he didn't need a "football guy" and the Cowboys could do just as well with him in charge again.

In 2007, Wade Phillips made it to the playoffs on the back of the roster Parcells had built. They even had the number one seed, but it didn't help. They were still one and done, the first number one to get bounced in their first game in nearly two decades.

In 2008, another losing season.

In 2009, finally a playoff win over the self-destructing Eagles, but then another embarrassing loss.

And in 2010, 2-7 and a midseason coaching change. Just like the last time Jones let someone else do the GM work then parted company with them, two years of afterglow followed by a descent into the toilet. Even with this season being an "uncapped" year, he hasn't exactly produced stellar results.

Bottom Line: Minus the ability to outspend everyone, Jones is a pretty sorry GM, and everyone who watches the Cowboys seems to realize this.

(with the exception of Jones himself, as Pam Oliver's interview made quite clear)

Do we really want to follow the example of Mr. Micromanager himself, Jerry Jones?

Fox is gone at the end of the season, would it really make any difference if we bring in an interim coach? The Cowgirls are a little different from us, in that Garrett has a pretty good shot at being Head Coach anyway. None of Fox's assistants are going to become the head coach.

JR is no Jerry Jones. Jones might spend a ton of money, and look foolish at times, but I never question that mans passion for winning. Same with Al Davis. I know with JR, winning isnt the top priority. That's some sad sad sh*t when the owner of your fav team doesnt care about winning like you do.

When the owner of your team is willing to write off a season just to prove a point. He gets sympathy from a lot of the fans, but not from me. He comes out and says, "well, we didnt think we were going to be this bad." Well, wtf did you expect? We did NOTHING! In fact, we have done NOTHING for the past 2 years! Been doing nothing but subtracting for the last 2 years, and "we didnt think we we're going to be this bad." Man, forget that. If he told me that in person, I'd laugh in the mans face and call out BS.

This season is just getting more and more ridiculous by each game, and we're becoming more and more of a laughingstock each week. Oh, and Fox should've been fired years ago. It's no question Fox is doing all this as a big F U to the personnel department above. He can do it though, because JR wont fire him

The mere fact that you are mentioning Jones and Davis in a positive light as a GM shows that you have the football intelligence of my 6 month old neice.

that is all....

Man, hush with all that. Just because I talked down about your boy(JR), doesnt mean you have to get your panties in a wad. You were one of the people on here who said we were actually going to be good this year. You've already shown you dont know about football talent, and you lack football intelligence. I acknowledged that both Jones and Davis were pretty horrible at what they do, but I gave them props on their passion for winning. You cant deny that winning is numero uno for them.

And on the topic of your neice...your neice must know a lot about football then chief. I've played it, and been apart of it my whole life

Style points aside, the results for the Cowboys far exceed anything the Panthers have accomplished. To criticize Jone's methods while ignoring his success as well as the Panthers failures is amusing to say the least.

How diod the Panthers have their early success in 1996? By stockpiling big name free agents and spending the cash. But if Jerruh did it it's different I guess.

Again, the Cowboys have won a playoff game as recently as 2009, the Panthers? 2005.

No one wants Jerry Jones in Carolina but to deny his success while wearing the hater glasses is a bad case of denial.

And no, none of Fox's assistants warrant Head Coach consideration, a further condemnation of JR, Hurney and Fox.

That idiot Jerruh spent big $ a couple years back to keep Jarrett when there was talk of his moving on. Another stupid move I guess.

But I know he won't.

JR should fire Fox-now- he is just making stupid calls with total disregard for the team or fans now. I mean St Pierre- unbelivable.

Sounds like Richardson and Fox have written off this year.

Unless you are just going for the party, people who still go to the games and give there money are crazy.

Would do JR good to see an empty, and I mean empty stadium a couple weeks.

Except for the few in the stands with the bag on there heads.

The stadium will be empty as fug next Sunday - take that Jerry!
