I was going around checking some of the reactions to this seemingly crazy move, most of which has been already quoted here.

However, what was really sad was to see some Ravens fan's comments. It wasn't that they were laughing at us but they were actually worried that there was a lot of pressure on the Ravens now to deliver a blow out and anything less than a complete annihilation of us on Sunday would be seen as some kind of defeat.

I don't want to believe we are that team?

I miss the Jake Delhomme in his pre-2009 Arizona playoff game form. I do not miss his play from then on.

I never liked hhis play, he was never consistent and I grew tired of holding my breath every time he threw the ball. When he went to the pro bowl in 05 I thought maybe he was growing but it didnt take long for that to fade. MICHAEL VICK IN FA OR ANDREW LUCK, either way works

LOL, teams that can't blow us out at this point should be worried.

Fair enough. Thanks for the perspective, and welcome to the forum. Feel free to stick around -- misery loves company.

Hey what can I say, I should be on the Bengals board talking about what needs to be done to make the playoffs and some of the great wins we've had. Instead, I'm trying to find an outlet with someone I'm rooting for that I know personally in Pike and seeing him not get the start. Just can't win, in my city for a pro or college team, and now disappointed with another city. I'll share in the misery with ya.

Many of us thought Pike would've been put on the practice squad (before we let Cantwell go), at which point we suspected the Bengals would pick him up.

I personally don't know much about him and have never seen him play (save for his limited time in preseason and last week), but I'd like to see him start over St. Pierre.
