at this point im more concerned about our players...i think we need an upgrade over lucas opposite gamble and the d-line i'm a lil concerned about..although i do think charles johnson is ready to step up

I'm more concerned with the coaches.

We will be scrambling for a defensive end when Peppers leaves, and its obvious we need a little help on the defensive line. But these are the only areas I would classify as needs. Sure, it would be nice to look at cornerbacks, but I think in the right scheme Lucas will play well. Not to mention our secondary as a whole will only improve as Charles Godfrey improves.

Also, I think Charles Johnson will step up big next year.

Our defensive line is embarrassingly useless. Fox is going to meddle into the defensive schemes two games into next season anyways, so it won't matter who he hires.

also, there were some big risks taken last year to try and get the offense solid.

those same type of risks will be taken to fix the defense. fix and hurney both have to do it if they want to keep their jobs.
