Generation Y in a nutshell

I really don't like Twitter. I tried to get on there just to follow Panthers players and I still think its really stupid. I just don't understand it. Its like constant Facebook status updates and that's it. I don't see anything interesting about it and I'm 24 so I guess maybe I fall into that generation

I wonder if thats how old people feel about Facebook....

i hate facebook and i'm 28.

stupid redundant forms of communication.

how many different ways do i need to send text to someone?

its called avoiding. when you see those people you haven't seen in a while and they want to talk and get your number and you don't want to deal with them you just throw out the old "just hit me up on facebook"

100% of the time it works every time

so you need a whole different type of communication just to avoid communicating with people?

shiat, i just don't answer my phone.

thats the trick. you dont give them your number in the first place! There's also people I like to stay in touch with that I never talk to on the phone.

So we're saying Kitty Genovese would have at least been photographed nowadays?

Exactly right.

I predicted this modern Kitty Genovese situation would happen months ago (In the thread about a cop punching a black girl caught on film; at least two people filmed on cell phones while none came to her aid or tried to restrain her prior to being punched by the cop), and am devastated to find out that it came true.

I'm just going to throw it out there right now: I hate my generation. Hate it. The thought of Generation Y running the world one day is actually frightening. Any generation that worships instant gratification, fame, stupidity, promiscuity, technology, "dramaaaaa," and our very liberal interpretation of the concept of "reality," over innovation, effort, intelligence, positive relationships, and face-to-face human interaction, I want no part of. I have always been anathema of Generation Y, and if there is any kind of legal proceeding I could undertake to officially divorce myself from it, I would be happy to hear about it.

And Generation Y, your music SUCKS!
