D-Will's season is over

Not so sure about that. Even with his durability issues, there are probably plenty of teams that may offer a big payday. Not to mention that he has to contend with Stew (and probably Goodie) for carries. I guess that it will all depend upon his perspective.

There will be.

He's still gonna ask for a decent chunk of change, but he's earned it.

With Stewart playing poorly this year (maybe if Stew would finally show up for a training camp..) I think the FO fully intends on resigning him.

I am now wondering if RB Deangelo Williams, who will be a free agent after the season, could have played his last game here barring a contract extension?

Probably. Does he want to start over with a new HC and all that comes with that or go to a team that will a contender next year. The latter of course.

It was good to see a drafted RB play as well as he did. Now we'll have the opportunity to watch him peak with another team and quite possibly become one of the best running backs in the league on a regular basis.

Thanks for all your efforts, #34.

I think they Panthers need to do what they can to resign him. I think if not for the CBA he would have been one of those guys they would have locked up. That being said, there is always the Franchise Tag. Of course the debate is whether he is worth it, but we can always have the Pepper's saga all over again :-) The only difference is I think D'Will will handling it differently.

I'm actually not too mad about this. What is this season going to do to help Dwills future? He still will get a big contract from someone, and the rest of the season would add just more unnecessary wear on his body. Plus we get to see more of Goody and Sutton

Didn't D Will go on IR around this same time last year when we were in the suck? I'm not really too upset about this but I do enjoy watching him play. He's probably my fav player on the team but I gotta wonder the motives of all the players on IR all of a sudden. Are they really hurt or are they just giving up because the season is already shot? We proved last year that just because we didn't have the best record, we could still stop other teams from going to the playoffs. lol. Very sad year for us but it can only get better i guess. Definately can't get worse anyway.
