Deangelo may be going to IR....

Look at Stewart objectively this season. Everyone knows Deangelo is the more agile of the two and constantly bounces plays outside, which doesnt always work i might add. Stewart's a between-the-tackles runner having plays called into 8 man fronts constantly since teams dont respect our passing game at all and have two years worth of game film to use in preparation for our blocking schemes anyway. Plus, Davidson motions his recievers in to block which brings another defender into the box, and hasnt made an in-game adjustment all year--so if the running game isnt working in the first half it wont work in the second half. Add in that our offensive line isnt healthy and hasnt halfway played decent until last week when our third team running back was starting.

Yeah, Stewart hasnt played great, but lets not act like its all his fault and that he, along with the rest of the offense, cant be good without Deangelo here.

Thats IF Deangelo wants to stay here. I don't hear him coming out like TD saying he wants to be a panther for life.

this.

people are whining and crying about the front office had better do this and had better do that...they'll put an offer on the table just like they did after the 2008 season.

it's up to williams to say yay or nay.

I'm glad the front office cares enough about him to not risk him further.

There is no point.

Neither williams nor stewart are injury prone. They play one of the toughest positions in a very brutal sport. They get hit every time they carry the ball. They have the shortest life span in the nfl.

Fact is..williams has missed more games due to injury. Spin that however you want.

Whether he comes back with another contract or not...am glad he was a panther. I enjoyed watching him run, even though he isn't my favorite runner on the team.

Should he decide to move on, the panthers will move on also.
