Sound Off: Worst team in the NFL

Funniest part of this is a lot of people claimed this team would be an average or playoff team this year and called anyone who said otherwise morons who weren't giving the Panthers a chance to show off their awesome drafting skills. After a terrible draft they said that we weren't giving a JR time to bring in big name free agents. Then the preseason was horrible and they said that the preseason was meaningless.

Now they have finally shut up.

we won't have the worst offense in NFL history. not even close.

we won't even have the worst of the decade. last year the rams scored 175 points and had 4470 yards on offense. the panthers are on pace for about 185 points and 4008 offensive yards on the season. yards suck, but points are all that matters in the end. you could call it a toss up between those two. the in 2000 the browns only scored 161 and only got 3530 yards. i would say that is worse off than what we are (even though they managed to win 3 games that year).

still, we do suck and it is the worst team in franchise history. hopefully it will be the worst team the franchise will every have.

I thought the Panthers could manage 7 or 8 wins this season, just based off of last season when they were able to get to 8-8 with Jake playing the way he did, and playing with a lot of backups since several starters were injured.

Never did I think a quarterback could play worse than Jake did last season, but man was I wrong...

oh well. every team has has these seasons. just be glad we aren't the Lions who have had to deal with this for their entire existence. they have like 5 wins in the past several seasons...

ticket price inflation is the biggest dose of reality out there.. poo costs money

Phann: I love the Panthers so much but I have penned this 26 page dossier explaining the obvious problems with the franchise and just to prove I am not another random complainer I have prepared a 46 minute presentation complete with powerpoint on how to fix the problems and take this team from average to perfect!

Jerry: Not only are you gonna pay, you are gonna pay more for a team that is not better....ohhhh no. The Panther franchise is gonna show the spoiled brat Panther phanz just how lucky they have been.
