Panthers defense bending under big load

It's funny that Fox completely dismissed this notion, then Thomas Davis on the Mac Attack yesterday morning said it was definatley a factor...

In my opinion it's just another reason it is hard to believe a lot of the statements John Fox spews out. :rolleyes

While I think it is a factor, I don't think it is a major one. Sure, more opportunities will pad the stats of our opponents offense. However, this defense has given up way too many long, time-consuming drives that had nothing to do with our horrid offense. And while we do not give up a ton of big plays, we do give up a lot of intermediate ones that keep drives alive. While I think this defense has a lot of good talent, I do believe it has some holes that our opponents have identified and attack whenever they need to make a play.

I think it was fairly obvious that the bucs had game planned well against our defense.

Yes, the defense does get worn down, but not in the first half of the game.
