Haslett, who has been a defensive coordinator or head coach for the past 13 seasons, is believed to be interested in joining Fox's staff. Haslett attended Senior Bowl practices this week and was exploring potential job opportunities.

Well, well. I brought Haslett up yesterday. And was told Fox and Haslett don't get along. But it looks like Haslett wants to join the Team.

Jim Haslett = Turdovac 2.0...why does Fox hire the same guy sweet lord if he hires Haslett it will just be proof that Fox is the problem and this organization needs to find a new leader.

I'm beginning to think anything Fox does, will be in your eyes, the proof that Fox is the problem.

Seems pretty retarded to me.

He is a better DC than he is HC.

Not really. His defenses with the Rams were terrible, and Linehan spent all 3 of his first round picks there on defensive players, and picked up Witherspoon and Draft, and maybe a few others I can't think of off the top of my head.

Before that he was a DC with the Steelers, and he did okay, but never top 5 okay, but that was 10 years, 2 different jobs in different cities, and a different base defense ago.

Please, for goodness sake, NO Jim Haslett

I would like to see someone @ DC that Fox does not know

I find it hard to believe that will happen. Fox is one of the best defensive minds out there. I'm pretty sure he knows what he's looking for, and that would be someone to run his scheme.

If only we had a front 4 that would create pressure, you all would be madly in love with him. I believe he's done hte best he's had available to him. Let's see what he does to help that out.

There are other factors other than "Get that guy, get this guy. Good, done".
