What if there is no lockout?

So what if there is not a lock out next season .

I sure hope there is not. I still remember the last NFL strike/lockout (call it what you will there are no games).

How awesome would it be for your team or ours for that matter to win their first SB during a shortened half ass season so you couldn't even really enjoy it. Yeah that would be not awesome at all.

Watching the Panthers and NFL football in general is something I look forward to every year. It just pisses me off that they might screw that up.

So what if there is not a lock out next season . Would you think that this sesaon was total BS. A billionare trying to save a few million dollars.

Shows that you have absolutely no understanding of what JR was trying to do and why he was doing it.

JR dumped bad contracts of aging and diminishing vets....with no cap consequences. He then did not sign over valued vets to the same type of contracts in FA. This was one of the worst FA classes in years.

There were a few players that may have made sense (Bolding, etc) if he knew that there was no lockout. Yet, they still would not have made a big diff this year.

We will have a top 5 pick....with a rookie payscale...and tons of cap space to play in the FA market.

Remember, all of those players that became RFA's when the CBA was voided....will be UFA when the new one is signed. The FA market will be very, very rich....and we will be a team with lots to spend.

Short term this season was painful. Longterm these move may play out to be very beneficial.

Maybe not diminishing but sometimes disappearing! Seriously, I love Pep but damn he could be frustrating. I blame some (Maybe a lot) on the way he was used in the defense but if he wants to be that impact player, that game changing player, then he must make his contributions more consistent.

He will have this great stretch and then just like David Copperfield.. He is fuggin gone.
