Well for a 3-4 you need completely different types of personnel. The Panthers have the NT for it and to be honest that's about it. Beason and Davis would make solid LBs but the Panthers would need to add a rushing LB and 2 DEs and a lot more depth at LB. The transition right now would be too difficult IMO.

I've always been a fan of the 3-4. Can do many things to confuse the offense and if you look at the top defense's today, most of them are 3-4.

agreed, I don't care what type of defense it is as long as it's top ten. If our offense stays around the same next year, thats plenty to get us to 11-5 or 12-4 and back in the playoff's with a 1st or 2nd seed.

We don't have nearly the right personnel for a 3-4. It'd be a COMPLETE overhall top to bottom of our defense. Which means, for the next two or more years, we'd have a very bad defense.
