Fox losing grip or interest?

Jackofalltrades

Desperate times usually bring out someone's true colors. Weeks ago Fox distanced himself from personnel decisions that were made in the off season. This, was very unlike what we've seen from Fox in the past. Fox has always absorbed or ignored blame, now he's deflecting it.

In his post game comments he remarked:

** “That worked out really well,” coach John Fox said sarcastically. “In hindsight I wish we had done something else.

** “We were in a little bit of a time issue there with no timeouts remaining so you’re a little limited. So we were not able to punch it in from the two inches, or whatever it was.”

So the one time Fox doesn't put his hand into a coordinator's gameplan it was THESE two calls? No, Fox knew what Davidson was calling, I'm sure of it. If he didn't, yeah, he should have.

Exactly, I thought EVERY offensive play has to go thru Foxy, right?

Fox is becoming a cancer to the whole locker room now. If your the Head Coach, then ultimately it all falls on you. Maybe he'd secretly like to Fire Davidson (rightfully so) and does not have that power anymore. While I do appreciate Fox's candor, its not a good idea to throw your other coaches under the bus. It will lead the players to resent those guys and the subsequent trickle down effect get can downright ugly.

From what I hear, this is still Fox's defense. For his players not to be ready for that last run to me, is pathetic. Id say he has grip. Quite frankly I don't see what either side gets from sticking around. We don't get anything out of firing him now, but what do we get out of keeping him?
