Clausen got concussion

This isn't their chance. Like others have said he's just a running back in this situation and they are trying to stop a TD. There are better examples of protecting players they could use.

Somehow I get the feeling if he were planted on a dirty hit you wouldn't be upset because it's Clausen getting hit. Fact: whistle blows, play is over. Hit after play on player unable to defend himself = dirty. Another fact to add to your collection. Homie.

I never wish harm on any player, my team or another team.

My point was that there are 100 better "examples" they could use to get the point of player safety across. Plays at the goal line are not usually viewed the same as other plays.

Talib is a b*tch period. Jeff Davidson is an idiot (as I said we should have punted...and im serious), but that doesn't excuse Talib being a cheap POS for that move. What do you gain out of going after the QB at that point? nothing. just another extra unnecessary hit. Fug him and the bucs.

lol!!!!!

boo-hoo your punk little Qb tried a sneak, the hell is Talib suppose to do??? let him score! you sir are a moron, thats all. :)

let him score? so if Talib hadn't hit Clausen, Clausen would have scored? WRONG. he was already stopped. he wasn't getting anywhere. Talib got his shot in and so did Smitty. I only regret Smitty didn't break his nose like he did Ken Lucas.

hahahaha, i got nothing. that last part was rather funny, if you wana be mad at someone dont be at aqib. be mad at your dumbazz coach for calling a stupid play... twice in a row Truth is talib did what every fan would want their defense to do in that situation, and thats makeing the play.

the best thing for you to do is just not say anything. because all you can do is laugh it off and fail at making jokes because you know you are wrong. the fact remains is that it was a dirty play. nothing you can say will change it.

You guys are seriously delusional homers or just don't understand the game....as I've heard from other NFCS fans. How was this a late hit? The wistle hadn't blown yet? Clausen and the rest of the Panthers squad was still trying to push to get him across the goal line. Is Talib just supposed to sit there and watch him try to cross the goal line until the wistle blows? And to say it was a helmet to helmet hit is a bad guess at best.

As far as what Smith did in retaliation, it was dirty, but I'd be happy he was trying to prtoect his QB if I was you.

And how could you guys seriously whine about this after that dirty hit that Clifton Smith took last year?

Hitting helmet to helmet is illegal, plain and simple, and if you morons can't get that we can't help you.

Were you on this site last year? Everyone on here agreed that the hit on Clifton Smith was wrong and the refs were right to eject Wesley... it was a stupid, dangerous play, so why don't you go and crawl back under your rock.

IF you think that Clausen would have scored without Talib's hit, then you know nothing about football.

and what does Clifton Smith have to do with this?! Dante Wesley was fined, and kicked off the team. Not to mention your players retaliated, as they should have. There is no excuse so quit trying to make up one. It just makes you look worse
