Cowher hints at Carolina Job on CBS pre game show!

 So you are comparing Bill Cowher to George Seifert?? Seifert won 2 SBs on a talented team left to him by aHC name Bill Walsh. Bill Walsh built that Team of Steve Young Jerry Rice and the rest of that talent and left it to Seifert and Walsh stayed with the 49ers as GM for years after to help keep the talent coming. All Seifert did is coached that talent team and he won. Seifert came to carolina and was handed a broken old team with Sam mills kevien Greene and other guys. He tryed to build off of that for 2 years and failed. Bill Cowher in his 15 years with the steelers had 10 winning seasons went to the AFC Championship title game 6 times, won his division 9 times in 15 seasons and went to the SB 2 times and winning one of them. So trying to compare Seifert to Cowher is like trying to compare a 20 year old broken down car with a brand new one. Doesn't make since. Plus unlike Seifert Cowher has more then proven he can build a team and win. If Bill was to come to Carolina. I ain't expecting him to win the first season. Because the first season is mostly going to be a strip down and rebuild year for Carolina. But in the second year I would expect alot more from him no less then a playoff birth and maybe a SB aswell.:Chevy_anim:

I'm well aware of Cowhers accomplishments but alot of his success was based on the the high calibur of his coordinators, one of which is still there. Cowher has been gone from the burg for awhile and they are still formidible. So, did Cowher make Pittsburgh or did the Burg make Cowher. The only comparison i'm making is don't get fked on the hype. If Cowher is secure in his abilities then get paid for your performance. Don't get me wrong, I like his stat sheet, but is that going to translate to success for us... aside from the 2 coaches mentioned that had retread success it will be a gamble.... the odds are already against him. I'm 92 years old, i dont want to wait.

uhh you do know that most current steeler players are still players drafted by cowher right?? so naturally they are still successful. Mike tomlin made very little change and yes he did keep most of cowhers assistants but that proves what cowher was doing absolutely worked and still is.

lol watch Fox get resigned
If fox gets resigned then I'm jumping ship and I mean that. I respect Fox for what he has done for us in the past. But there is no way JR would rehire him in a million years. JR knows better then that. If Fox gets rehired then watch his profits go down the draine next year when the staduim is empty and no one is buying tickets and other stuff. I don't think JR is the stupid to test the fans. Fans and money to him is more important then been loyal to a HC at this point. :puke:

....just having a hard time getting past the odds of a retread getting us to the promise land because its never been done. Dont get me wrong, I'd love the attitude Cowher could bring to the team. JR' wants to be like the Steelers but not sure if we should take their leftovers..
