I hate seeing the Panthers lose. But winning at this point hurts more than it helps. All they'd be doing is hurting their draft position. Hate if you want, but deep down you know it's true.

I don't understand how a win can possibly hurt more than a loss if you are truly a fan. As a TRUE fan, you always want a win. Sure having the first pick would be great, but I'm not going to cheer for my team to lose. In my opinion, that isn't a true fan.

2. We are not going to have a winning record.

3. We will have a new coach next year.

Haha exactly...one player will not make this team a playoff contender. I could care less about a number one overall pick... Pay high dollar for and unproven player, who may turn into a bust... I want this team to start winning games... Finish 31st even, just not last. The team need to end the season with something to build on next year. IF they go 1-15, that means next year we'll yet again be in the first year of a building era. I'd much rather go out getting a few games under the belt, with hope for next year.

I can't believe so many fans actually want their team to lose.

Outsider lookin in, you don't need the overall number one pick to start rebuilding. The Falcons are the best example available, they were horrid in the second half of 06 and the entire 07 season(6-18) 3 years later we are (16-8) in that same span.

First, we found our new GM(T.Dimitroff) he then hires a great HC(M.smith) together they targeted a young QB out of B.C.(Ryan) we drafted him with the 3rd overall pick and traded to draft S.Baker in the late first and grabbed run stuffing line backer in the 2nd(C.Lofton) we also picked up two key parts to our current team H.Douglas(3rd) K.Bierman(6th).

You see it's not about getting the overall #1, ask Detroit and Oakland how that has worked out for them. It's building an identity and then draft the personnel to fit that identity.

I hope you guys get it turned around quickly, I want the NFCS to be the best division in football. Which it would be had the Panthers not had such a down year.

Oh Carolina will be back.. And expect a tough game from a rookie filled team. Honestly these guys are really kicking ass - was impressed by the Tampa Bay game.. but damnit i want Clausen to face the Ravens - Its the only way he really matures.

With all due respect Falcon fan, you guys got lucky with Ryan. Not many QB's put up #'s like he does so early. So...consider yourself very lucky
