Just about every time I call out Ward I get told that it's not his fault, its the other guys. Whether its been here or on another board. This has been going on for the past couple years. I have thought for a while Ward has been overrated. He will give you a great game and then give you a poor performance. He's up and down. Goalies aren't going to always get clean looks at the puck. There are going to be guys all out in front of him. You can't keep putting the blame on his teammates out in front for not blocking the puck or completely covering the guy. Ultimately Ward has to be the guy to stop the puck. This year yes the defense has been horrible, but Ward hasn't looked up to par either. He's a good goaltender at times, but I think overall he's vastly overrated by the fans. He just let in 2 easy goals and now the Habs are up 4-2.

pretty nice finish to a great week for the Habs. Shutout the Canucks, go into Boston and get a big win and then score 7 to close out the week! Powerplay is clicking, Penalty kill is great and Price is standing on his head. Hopefully Markov isn't hurt too bad. Habs are looking real good.
