I'm not a huge fan of Kolb, but he's better than what we've got. I just want an QB than can help us win. Obviously Fox doesn't have a lot of faith in Clausen or Pike, even Armanti at QB right now cause we signed Pierre to the practice squad and Fox says: “It gives us a third quarterback in the building learning our offense.” Man there ain't no other QB's out there?????

It all depends on who the coach is. If they're like Fox, then we get a McNabb for a year while we search for the long-term answer. That answer might be on our roster, it might not.

If we get an offensive guy, then maybe he'll be able to make something of Clausen, or even Pike. And he might work at drafting Luck, Locker, or Newton and build an offense around him.

I certainly wouldn't rule out Clausen though, not with the way the line has played, or with the plays Davidson's called. Give him some experienced receivers, a running game that works, and an OC who understands the difference between Peyton Manning and a rookie, and Clausen might look like a future star. Around here, none of the rookies would look any better than he has.

all depends on the coach. clausen WILL be here next year, whether hes the starter or back up will be determined on the field. id love to see a harbaugh/luck combination.

I doubt very seriously if it will be Clausen. He has good footwork and pocket awareness and the potential to be good in the right system. But of course our coaches will not or can not change the current system to his strengths, soooooo. My vote would be to cut Moore, sign a veteren FA QB, like McNabb, Vick or Cobb. Someone that Clausen can learn from and someone that can win games for us now/then. Then there's the possibility of signing a rookie QB with the #1 pick....Hmmmmmmm
