CatMan's 11/11 practice observations

Not sure, it was the most frustrating thing - I'm watching from the side 3 practice fields away and I just couldn't see who was lined up on the strong-side.

Depth chart still has Anderson on the strong side. Nic Harris and Jason Williams on the weak side.

I could see switching Anderson to the weak side though. It's a prime spot in Meeks' scheme.

With Anderson's speed and athleticism I've always thought he was better suited as a WLB in this system anyways.

Jason Williams is 6'1" 244, so from a purely physical standpoint he seems better suited to play SLB. He has a 12 lb. weight advantage on Harris and a 9 lb. weight advantage on Anderson. Size alone doesn't make him the best man for the job, but it's a factor.

This article was just posted on Panthers.com and it says Nic Harris will be playing WLB:

Must have been experimenting with Anderson at WLB yesterday and decided to leave him over at SLB. Probably more of a reflection on Harris at SLB than Anderson at WLB.

...and Anderson has been playing so well at SLB that they may have decided not to mess with him.
