Should Hurney be fired with fox

A Good GM would not have his team 1-7 and probably the worst team in the NFL. You can say that he drafted these good players, but we aren't winning. We haven't won a playoff game in 5 years. The future doesn't look good for the Panthers either. Steve Smith is aging. Jonathan Stewart looks like he lost a step. D.Will will probably sign with another team. And we dont have a proven QB. And our D-line is still a question mark. And the O-line is suspect. Hurney may know how to draft good players, but he doesn't know how to build an good overall team. He not a good GM and needs to go.

Once again your blaming the state of the current team on him, when most of the blame should be targeted at the Owner for wanting to drop salary... All those vets that were released..... Not having a vet QB on a team full of what was basically Rookie QB's from top to Bottom...Getting rid of all the DT's basically, letting Peppers walk with out offering him a contract, trading Harris...letting hoover and Moose walk...letting all the Oline Depth walk over the last two seasons....all the Owner....

How did you think a team with out any vets really on Offense at needed spots would do???? Honestly? The team was gutted and left with Rookies and young guys, most Positions in the NFL take a few years to develope the right skills to play correctly... There's very few rookies who come into the NFL and perform well.

This team needed one thing majorly and it was overlooked, not a starting vet QB, but a VET QB was needed. Also it would have helped tremendously if the owner didn't pretty much show that this season was kinda a wash and we are looking towards the future.

I would put the blame on the coach in this instance. I mean hurney provided fox with a roster filled with talent and he has failed to produce. sounds more like fox's fault than hurney's

It's not John Fox's fault that Matt Moore and Jimmy Clausen sucks and we have one of the worst WR cores in the NFL. When you have bad quarterbacks and a bad WR core it is hard to score points. I think this instance is on hurney.
