is bring Kurt Warner out of retirement an option for the panthers?

i've done some looking around on here and i haven't seen warner's name mentioned as a possible candidate for quarterbacking the panthers (mods delete my thread if it was already discussed.)

IF (that's a really big if) he is still in football shape in 2011 and so desires, putting kurt warner on the team could work wonders. you'd gain that critical veteran leadership that the offense sorely lacks right now, you'd get a guy that's been in the league a long time, a guy who's familiar with pressure, with playoffs, with defensive schemes.

plug that guy into a run-heavy scheme (making fixing the offensive line a huge offseason priority) and hand the ball off thirty or forty times a game to double trouble, keeping him from facing pass rushes too much and opening up the play action.

essentially it'd be like what the vikings did last year, taking an old retired quarterback with a lot of talent and veteran experience and putting him on a run-heavy team. it took them to the NFCC that year.

assuming he'd be willing or able, what are the thoughts for or against bringing in warner?
