haha why?! It gets old after you have eaten the noodles so many times and put all the flavors/spices on it you can think of. The crunchyness provides a different ramen experience.

I used to eat them crunchy style as well. It was too dangerous for me to be boiling water when I got home from the bars back in college. I would also hide my keys behind the cans of vegetables so I wouldn't try and drive to IHOP.
